May 17th, New York Nuggets

Last night the forecast was for some weak 3 foot, South windswell to hit Long Island with offshores forecasted all day. Usually when surfing in New York, it usually takes about 45 minutes from the time you leave your house to the time you return, because the waves are never what they were forecasted to be. Today was no epic swell, but I left my house at 7am, and didn't come home until about 5pm. We ended up surfing 3 different sessions in Central and Western LI, and were able to find some really fun, punchy waves. Even though it wasn't epic, it was better than sitting at home. All of the shots are from the last session. Should be waves tomorrow, so get on it. Thanks for checking in. Click here to check out the gallery...
